Welcome to my blog, or as I like to call it: my online playground. I’m addicted to lovely things and strongly believe that there’s always more than meets the eye. So put on your magic goggles and take this trip with me.

First Dries, then Felix

After buying my very first Dries Van Noten, I needed a drink asap. So we ended up at de mArkt FelixPakhuis, a few buildings further down at the Godefriduskaai. This unique food concept store used to be an old warehouse where loads of food and merchandise were stored. Today the upper floors form a safe haven for the city archives of Antwerp. At the ground floor you can eat breakfast, have lunch or just sit down for a cup of coffee (however, the main reason you should drop by here is for their excellent selection of whiskey and gin - just sayin').

Also, the interior is very inspiring. I couldn't stop taking pictures. The several bars are a beautiful example of what to do with wooden crates. And I so want one of those apple green Smeg fridges for my new home. Pronto! Rather sit outside? Without a doubt, the most striking feature of this place is the proximity of the Willemdok harbor and the MAS museum. Enjoy the view...
