Welcome to my blog, or as I like to call it: my online playground. I’m addicted to lovely things and strongly believe that there’s always more than meets the eye. So put on your magic goggles and take this trip with me.

Dutch favorite: Femke Agema

Last week I blogged about KOKO, the super neat coffee bar/fashion store in Amsterdam. Remember? Well, today I present to you: the SS13 collection of Dutch designer Femke Agema, now available in the KOKO clothing racks.
It's very inspiring to see how Femke brings together the worlds of art and fashion with a good dose of wit and whimsy. Starting out with art pieces, she explores new forms, alternative materials, movement and proportions, which she then later transforms into wearable pieces.
Her SS13 collection 'Elders' is her vision of the world springing into life after winter. And hey: looking back on the weather these past few months, a touch of spring couldn't possibly come too soon, right? That's also why my indisputable favorite this season is the bomber jacket with brisk color blocking (see first pic). Too bad even the smallest size was still too big for me. I swear it would have looked great with skinny jeans or with a simple, little black dress...
